Chipmunks and Squirrels…oh, my!
This is my very wild rose bush. Yes, I really need to read up on how to trim it properly.
It spreads out bigger each year. When in bloom, it’s very colorful.
When the blooms fade, wild daisies pop up. Very beautiful all summer long.
Now, the dog is a different matter.
He swears the chipmunks and squirrels that run in there while he is chained up during the day are having a party without him.
He so wants to join them!
Too bad he doesn’t see the animals shoot out the other end. lol
I think the only thing he ever caught there was a snake.
And yes, I had to go rescue the poor thing.

Mostly the snake. Big sucker, too!
Hubby hates snakes and loves to try and mow them down with the lawn mower. You’d think he had a few too many drinks if you ever saw him. lol
As for the rescue, it was mutual. I’m not sure our 3 year old dog would know what to do with a snake. Not much of a chase for a lab.

I rescue snakes from our cat all the time.
I’m glad you rescue them too. I feel bad for them.
Yes, I resuce snakes.
And spiders trapped in bathtubs.
Not to mention turtles trying to cross the road. I stop the car and help them across.
Soft-hearted much? Yeah, that’s me.
I love critters even when they scare me at times.
