He neeeds to loose 5-10 pounds. I'm afraid when winter hits, he'll really pack on the pounds and never get rid of them. Wish me luck! I'm going to need it. We have a huge front yard. Yes, we live in the country. I can walk and read at the same time, and he will usually follow me. I might have to go visiting with him as well. Maybe he just needs a playmate...someone to help keep him active. That’s what I was figuring…walking.

Second, my dog is on a diet too. He's older--12--and over weight, so we have taken up going for two walks a day--not overly long walks, but enough to get us both moving.
