DESCRIPTION:

Bound by the demon of Doubt, Sabin unintentionally destroys even the most confident of lovers. So the immortal warrior spends his time on the battlefield instead of the bedroom, victory his only concern…until he meets Gwendolyn the Timid. One taste of the beautiful redhead, and he craves more.

Gwen, an immortal herself, always thought she’d fall for a kind human who wouldn’t rouse her darker side. But when Sabin frees her from prison, battling their enemies for the claim to Pandora’s box turns out to be nothing compared to the battle Sabin and Gwen will wage against love…

Review:

I’ve read the first few books of this series, and loved each one. These heroes are so unique, I’m enthralled. Ancient warriors who have done bad things in their life and now want to make amends. When they met the woman destined for them, I adore the way they are willing to change their lives. Talk about romantic.

This book is no exception. I devoured it in a few hours. The first page starts where the last book ended. The fight scenes were great. I enjoyed the angst the characters had to suffer through to come to their happy ending. Sabin and Gwen were the perfect couple. They have their issues, but they work through them together…well, eventually.

The only draw back to the book was the ending. The last fifty pages or so didn’t didn’t feel like Sabin. He was so willing to do anything not to loose Gwen, that he didn’t really sound like himself. His alphaness was toned down a little too much for my liking. I have purchased the next few books, and after reading this book, I’ll keep buying them. Fabulous writing!

I’m going to have to reread them! It’s been a while since I’ve read any of the series.

I’m woefully behind in my reading.

I’m so tempted to place an order for more books, but I’m trying to resist until I get more read first.

Sigh…what a rough problem to have, huh? lol
