What I’m reading…

Posted September 09, 2012, under Books, Paranormal, Reading, Urban Fantasy

Both of these books are urban fantasy.

One I purchased becuase I vaguely knew the writer, the other because the blurb caught my attention.

Here are the blurbs for this week:

Silver~

Andrew Dare is a werewolf. He’s the enforcer for the Roanoke pack, and responsible for capturing or killing any Were intruders in Roanoke’s territory. But the lone Were he’s tracking doesn’t smell or act like anyone he’s ever encountered. And when he catches her, it doesn’t get any better. She’s beautiful, she’s crazy, and someone has tortured her by injecting silver into her veins. She says her name is Silver, and that she’s lost her wild self and can’t shift any more.

The packs in North America have a live-and-let-live attitude, and try not to overlap with each other. But Silver represents a terrible threat to every Were on the continent.

Andrew and Silver will join forces to track down this menace while discovering their own power and their passion for each other.

Blood Rights (House of Comarré)~

Born into a life of secrets and service, Chrysabelle’s body bears the telltale marks of a comarré — a special race of humans bred to feed vampire nobility. When her patron is murdered, she becomes the prime suspect, which sends her running into the mortal world…and into the arms of Malkolm, an outcast vampire cursed to kill every being from whom he drinks.

Now, Chrysabelle and Malkolm must work together to stop a plot to merge the mortal and supernatural worlds. If they fail, a chaos unlike anything anyone has ever seen will threaten to reign.

What are you reading this week? Anything I might like?

I love the covers. I’m making my way through Cara Elliott’s books.

For strange…how have I not heard of Cara Elliott? I checked amazon and found a number of books. I’ll have to give her a try.

      Thanks!

I’ve seen Silver before. If you read that one, I’ll be interested to hear how you like it.

I agree. Silver does sound great, doesn’t it?

I wish I had more time to read! I used to read one book a day, now I’m lucky to get one book a week. How life changes, huh?
