As some of you know, I have a little problem with books.
I buy way more than I read. What you might not know is that videoes come in a close second. I watch them all, but I buy way more than I should. I signed up for NetFlix a few years ago, and it has helped tremedously. But sometimes, I backslide when I see a good deal…or something I just must have. lol
So, I ran across some good deals in the last few weeks.
These are on my want list:
I haven’t seen most of these yet. I also have two horror movies to watch from NetFlix. Even though most horror movies are not very well made, I can’t help myself. I watch them. A lot of them.
What about you? What movies are on your keeper shelves? What movies are you stalking, waiting for them to be released or go on sale?
I love the Walking Dead. Actually, since it’s come up lately, the next movie I buy is Fargo. I’m stuck on that movie it seems. On my keeper shelf, I stick with Snatch (and no, nothing explicit there), Spaced (British comedy), Father Ted (Irish comedy), It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (American comedy), and True Blood (self explanatory).
Oh yeah, not too sure why, but I really want to find a copy of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It makes me feel all girly and happy.
From your selections, I think you will not have a shortage of things to watch for a while.
Wow, I’m so behind the times, I’ve never heard of some of the movies you mentioned. I had to google them.
I love romantic comedy, but the good ones are hard to find. The only comedy I bought recently was for my husband…American Reunion. The previews looked hillarious.

Oh, I forgot to mention, if you like comedies, I love The Big Bang Theory on TV. I didn’t like it when it first came out. Now I hate missing the show.
Though I don’t watch a lot of movies, there are some I will watch over and over. I tend toward action adventure and romantic comedy. I love the Indiana Jones movies, Robin Hood, Prince of Theives, the Die Hard movies. And I so want a copy of Notting Hill! One of my fave RCs. Upcoming releases I’m looking forward to–The final Breaking Dawn. I do like that series as well. And I so want The West Wing series to go on sale somewhere!
And Melissa–my daughter has watched 7 Brides at least 100 times. Knows every line, every song. It makes her feel good too!
I love the movies you mentioned! I also adore Serenity and the Resident Evil movies, too.
My favorite RC is French Kiss. It wins by default….for how many times I’ve watched the thing.
I’ve never seen 7 brides before. I’ll have to check it out.
Jenna, I really like the Indiana Jones movies too. I also really like that last Robin Hood movie with Russell Crowe.
At least, I’m not the only one who likes Seven Brides. For some reason, I love some of those older movies. Back when acting was the primary focus, not the CG and stuff. Plus, most of the women had a provocative look that seems much more sensual than the actresses today with their boobs popping out of their tops. Just my opinion though.
